Private Lessons

Private Lessons

If you and your dog need more individualized attention, Private Lessons at Women's Animal Center are the recommended option over group classes. Whether you want to work on manners, tricks, or training related to specific behavioral issues, we can help you and your dog achieve the desired results.

Private Lessons are ideal for dogs who may not enjoy being around other dogs; who are shy or fearful; or for dog owners looking for one-on-one attention from the trainer. Commonly addressed issues include:

  • Reactivity
  • Mild to moderate fear or shyness
  • Leash manners
  • Impulse control

Private Lessons include individualized notes and homework in between sessions. One-hour lessons run for the course of five weeks, and are available on select weekdays and Saturdays. The registration fee is $235 for the public and $210 for those who have adopted a dog from Women's Animal Center.
